Programme Summary

The purpose of this programme is to train health personnel to man/supervise community and district health facilities where medical officers are usually not available. It also aims to produce a health worker who will be able to lead a health team to deliver effective, preventive and curative health care at the sub-district level, and also be part of the team of health workers at the district and community.
