The Nursing and Midwifery Training College, Twifo Praso, has held a meeting of its Advisory Board as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen academic excellence, institutional growth, and stakeholder collaboration within the College. The meeting brought together distinguished professionals and stakeholders from diverse fields who form part of the College’s Advisory Board. The engagement marked an important step in the Board’s operational activities following its inauguration by the Ministry of Health. In his welcome address, the Chairperson commended members for their commitment to supporting the growth and development of the College. He emphasized the importance of teamwork, strategic guidance, and collaboration in addressing key institutional needs and improving healthcare education delivery. The Principal of the College presented a briefing on the current state of the institution, highlighting achievements in academic performance, programme accreditation, staff development, and infrastructure improvement efforts. Members also discussed some of the key challenges facing the College and explored practical ways of mobilizing support for ongoing development projects. As part of the meeting, members undertook a familiarization tour of the College facilities to gain first-hand insight into infrastructure and operational needs of the institution. The Advisory Committee further reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Management in areas relating to academic development, infrastructure expansion, staff support, stakeholder engagement, and student welfare. The Principal of the College expressed appreciation to members of the Advisory Board for their valuable contributions, commitment, and readiness to support the advancement of the institution.
The Nursing and Midwifery Training College, Twifo Praso, has received an HP Laser MFP135 printer to strengthen its administrative and academic work. The presentation was led by the Programme Head of Registered Midwifery, Ms. Francisca Dzidzornu, on behalf of the donors. Speaking at the presentation, Principal Mrs. Vincentia Mottey thanked the group for their commitment to the College. She also paid tribute to her predecessor, Mrs. Stella Sarpomaah Oppong, crediting her leadership and the values she instilled in staff and students as part of the motivation behind such initiatives. Mrs. Mottey encouraged other year groups, alumni, and partners to support the College, noting that more resources are needed to meet its growing demands.
