PROFILE: Statistics and Research Tutor since the year 2013, currently with a grade of Health Tutor. I earned my first Degree and Higher National Diploma in Statistics from University of Cape Coast and Cape Coast Technical University respectively. My areas of research were “Statistical Analysis on Fertility and Mortality Rate, Sex Ratio and Age Distribution of Students with STDs, Sexuality and Contraceptive Use among Adolescents, and The Boys Get the Pleasure the Girls Get the Pain”. I have worked as a Biostatistics officer at Twifo Praso Government Hospital and Mathematics/ICT teacher at Twifo Agona Junior High School. Have held the position of Tutor in charge of Library and Sanitation at NMTC Twifo Praso.

I have acquired theoretical and practical knowledge in research, data collection and data management through my work with Ghana Statistical Service, Electoral Commission of Ghana, Statistics and Records Department of Twifo Praso Government Hospital and as a tutor. I have a key interest in teaching Statistics and Research; due to this I always try to adopt the pragmatic way of impacting knowledge to students and colleagues so as to help students realize that the course will directly affect their life in the chosen carrier. Thus; helping students to learn more about the important of data collection, analysis and to draw significant conclusions for evidence-base nursing and effective healthcare delivery.

I use range of teaching methods such as classroom lectures, discussions, and group work supported by a combined learning approach. I would like to develop my professional carrier through tutorship, further studies and seminars to attain in-depth knowledge in Statistics and Research, train the needed caliber of professionals in data management and analysis and to give my quota for the development of nursing education
holistically.
